My Life, in too many words.

Ask me anything   Submit   Archaeologist, herpetologist, lover of tattoos, literature, discussion, sex and, more importantly, suits.

I'm a male Archaeologist and I'm currently working at a notable British University. My specialisations are the British Bronze and Iron Age, and theoretical approaches.

I own a small variety of reptiles, including: pythons, milksnakes, dragons and iguanas.

I'm an atheist but also attempt with great difficultly to live as a 'stoic'; although this is a lot harder than I thought.

This beauty decided to come and keep me company late last week.

Manokwari Green Tree Python [morelia Viridis].
The photos were taken at night using a flash and as such they are slightly over-saturated; but, look, he’s turning green and blue finally!

My two year old Manokwari Green Tree Python [Morelia viridis], “Hepaestus”, started to go through his colour change around 3 months ago.

Despite this being a particularly slow change, I thought it would be nice to show you guys his current ‘dirty’ phase. His yellow is slowly disappearing and his dorsal areas are turning blue and connecting! Exciting things to come.

All photos and animals featured are my own unless otherwise specified.
